Flower Arranging

These are sketches of flower arranging at the manor, using hundreds of flowers dried by the gardening team from the autumn harvest.

This first sketch may not be the one that stands out so much. Yet for me it captures the energy of the flower arranging activity. So many flowers on such a big scale, this took the florist all day. It was very colourful to watch and draw.

The Hands that made Christmas

The entryway to the front door is lined with handmade bows. I watched these being sewn together and drew the hands at work.
