My colourful market stall!

ree

My first country show in Wanborough. I've had a busy few weeks preparing and finishing pictures. Since March I've been painting outside occasionally so have got lots of new smaller paintings. For the first time I've got greetings cards and I'm really pleased with these. I've still got various prints, small originals. So plenty to fill a stall and I was lucky enough to get a corner plot so lots of frontage space.

Putting up the gazebo was quite a challenge but will hopefully get used to it!

During the show the Chippenham Morris side were dancing near my stall. I asked if I could do a sketch of them whilst they were dancing. It was a very quick sketch which I didn't really get a photo of but it involved scribbling headless dancing men. When they turned round, I added the head of the next dancer! It was an interesting challenge which I wouldn't have been able to do a few years ago.
