Prospect Hospice

I've spent just a few sessions in the gardens of Prospect Hospice.  I drew and painted, occasionally chatting to staff and visiting family.

The gardens are small but perfectly formed, with wondering paths amongst shady trees and colourful flower beds.  The gardens give an opportunity for peace and reflection residents and visitors alike.  It was a privilige to create art based on this garden that means so much to people.

On my final session I sat in the cafe and drew people at work or having lunch.  I have often drawn in cafes but not normally so publicly so I enjoyed this opportunity.

Below are some sketches completed at Prospect, which I will add to over time as I continue to work at home.

Occasionally I will post work for auction on my Instagram account:  www.instagram.com/maryparsonsart
