Reinspired!

I really enjoyed my taster course at The Interior Design School (Paddington Central) back in February 2020. I learnt so much in just one day and came home to make a mood board for myself. I've not finished my lounge yet but here's some photos. It's given me a great lockdown project after inheriting my Nan's furniture.

I'm also using mood boards for paintings now - so that's why this course really helped me as I've got back into painting after taking a break.

Thinking about the setting for a painting and how to match my art makes me more considered and reflective. Not just the colours but the way that art can contribute to the mood of a room. I'm now half way through a painting of my local lake that I'm doing for my room - though it may end up elsewhere!
