Projects
By prior arrangement with local organisations, I have undertaken various projects. Each project is a unique arrangement, some more formal than others. Some have been at regular arranged times, or at public events. These experiences bring me into contact with the public whilst painting.
I create art in exactly the same way as I do in my private art practice. I am happy for people to watch me at work and ask questions. I believe that people encountering me at an event or venue gain an additional positive aspect to their visit. I bring art out of the gallery, so visitors can go beyond observing finished work to seeing creativity in action. In the days of AI, it's all about people seeing something with their own eyes.
If you'd be interested to discuss having an 'Artist at Work' for your event, please contact me to discuss.
The historic village centre of New Swindon, built by the Great Western Railway. I illustrated the main buildings individually and combined them to make a collage of the area.
I have extensively drawn the gardens of this National Trust property, capturing it through the changing seasons.
I will have a painting on permanent display in the potting shed.
I have painted this band on location on three occasions as they play on the village green, and in the church. I hope to return for future concerts.
I have painted in the beautiful gardens and cafe of this local hospice...
I have sketched a few times at this vibrant community garden project, always full of creativity and inspiration.
I visited to paint this lovely venue during a open evening for a local gardening group.
