A colourful ink drawing of summer in the garden at Prospect Hospice. A tree bows over a stone birdtable, surrounded by colour.  Created by dots, dashes and scribbles, the varied green foliage is dotted with yellow, orange and pink flowers.

It is Part of the Blue Bell Walk.  Nestled in the corner of  Prospect Hospice grounds, there is space to sit inside or out.  It is a place to go in all weathers to take a break and remember loved ones.  One of several sketches from my third drawing visit at Prospect Hospice (see video for others).

  • Aside from any postage costs all money from the sale of this sketch will go to Prospect.
  • The acrylic inks have a similar effect to watercolour but should be more fade resistant.
  • 36cm x 26.5cm
  • It is painted on handmade cotton rag paper, fairly traded from Southern India. Known as Khadi paper. 300gsm.
