This is a detailed art print of a beautiful stone entrance way to an Oxford University college. For lovers of architectural art or travel prints, this could be the perfect Cotswolds gift. If you know Oxford, it is St Cross College on St Giles Street so central to the city.
Oxford University is definitely on the tourist trail in the UK. It is on the edge of the Cotswolds; and this honey coloured limestone is typical of the region and quintessentially English.
I used to work in Oxford teaching students with visual impairment to find their way around. I loved working in the beautiful buildings and often had time to do some sketching in between sessions. This is typical of the intriguing doorways in Oxford. This was a sketch done with ink and then coloured digitally.
- An 8"x10" inch print has a 12"x14" paper size so a generous 2" border.
- 300gsm cotton paper.
- I will sign in pencil underneath the print on the white border.
