Avebury Orchard in Winter; a crisp and bright view of the dormant apple trees against a backdrop of evergreens and towering deciduous trees.   The long rough grass catches the sun in patches of colour, and a few golden leaves are still glowing in the winter sun.  The structured hedge surrounding the orchard is edged with a line of sunlit leaves, giving strong horizontals and a frosty shadow across the field.
